About Barlows UK

Barlows (UK) Ltd is a family run business, established in 1948 by Thomas Clifford Barlow.

From a small electrical repair shop in the village of Malpas in Cheshire, Barlows (UK) Ltd has grown steadily and now has branches in Cheshire, Shropshire and Manchester including four retail outlets.

Located at our Head Office in Malpas, Cheshire we have several divisions servicing all your property maintenance requirements: electrical installation and maintenance; testing and inspection; data cabling; plumbing and heating; telephone systems, and joinery and building repairs.

Barlows Manchester
Barlows Manchester was created to provide a progressive and innovative electrical installation and maintenance provider, driving change within the industry and placing our clients and residents first by responding to their changing needs.  The division has been working in close partnership with a number of major social housing providers and local authorities.  We are specialist contractors for local government and to the care industry. 

Manchester Customer Centre
Barlows are proud to be working together with Applied Energy and we have created a Customer Centre located at the office in Manchester.  We are open Monday – Friday 08.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. giving you the perfect opportunity to view a wide range of products on display, including heat-pumps, solar thermal collectors and whole house ventilation with heat recovery.  We offer a complete package in product supply, installation, system design, regulatory compliance and after-sales service.
 
In April 2007 Thorn Lighting will come on board and with their collaboration a wide range of lighting solutions will be on display at our Customer Centre.  This unique Customer Centre is a first for the North West and with Barlows working with market leaders in the industry we have successfully combined exceptional products, installation and maintenance.

Barlows Retail
Barlows retail has 3 electrical shops in Malpas in Cheshire and Whitchurch and Ellesmere in Shropshire.  The shops are constantly supported by the local communities as they provide a personal, friendly service and prices are competitive.
