For 60 years our Retail section has been able to provide customers with quality products at competitive prices and offer an after sales service second to none. From small beginnings our multi million pound company now flourishes, servicing commercial and consumer needs, yet still remaining a family business.
We can supply all well-known brands across all retail product categories; from washing machines to LCD televisions and from kettles to dehumidifiers. We have diversified over the last couple of years and together with our Bricks and Mortar business now provide Internet Sales and a growing Business to Business division.
Buying power
We are members of Euronics: the biggest electrical buying group in Europe. This gives us some phenomenal price advantages. It allows us to operate a click and collect service via the Euronics web site, this enables customers’ access to exclusive models designed to meet our customers’ needs and allows them to reserve items and collect from store or request delivery.
Delivery
We operate on low overheads, passing savings onto our customers, but have the advantage of large warehousing facilities to ensure speedy supply across most product categories. As our product range is so large and our customer requirements so diverse we offer delivery via national couriers, direct delivery from the manufacturer or delivery by our own staff. The majority of our products are delivered within 48 hours.
Accessories and Spares
We can provide you with access to over 4 million spares and accessories across a multitude of products. Whether you need anything from a lamp to a circuit board, a replacement dishwasher cutlery basket or a packet of vac bags, we can source it!
Peace of mind
Our Retail department are members of RETRA - the Radio and Electrical Trade Association. Membership provides customers who purchase from us assurance that we operate under strict codes of practise set up in conjunction with the Office Of Fair Trading and the health and safety authorities.
Guarantees
All of our products sold offer the full manufacturers guarantee, but we can also offer Domestic and General extended warranties as an optional extra, or a maintenance contract operated by the relevant Barlows department. (terms and conditions apply)
Experience
Our staff are a mixture of old and new: life experience mixed with the energy of youth. The majority of our managers have been in electrical retail for over 25 years. Our younger members of staff have grown up with amazing technical advances and the ability to simplify and communicate these to customers has provided us with an added dimension.
