Barlows (UK) Ltd have been successful in securing a contract for Together Housing Association carrying out the electrical installation condition reports working with their empty homes teams in the Blackburn and Darwen area. These works are to ensure that the electrical installation is satisfactory and ready for re-letting to a new tenant within a short time frame. These works range from small remedial works through to completing partial or full rewires or works associated with the installation of new bathrooms or kitchen to improve the homes.
Together Housing was formed from the combining of Twin Valley Homes, Chevin, Green Vale Homes, Housing Pendle and Pennine Housing. Together Housing is one of the biggest housing associations in the North of England with over 38,000 homes mainly across Yorkshire and Lancashire areas.
The quick turnaround for the works to be completed has drawn on our experience of having skilled electricians available as demand requires, to ensure we complete the administration process quickly our engineers have started the administration process electronically while onsite using our existing infrastructure of electronic job deployment, job updates, parts ordering and certification, this information is then sent back to the office to complete the administration verification of certification and final invoicing.
